Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website cielodorado.cl and any reservations or services provided by Cielo Dorado Resort & Spa S.A. ("Cielo Dorado", "we", "us"). By accessing our website or making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website, booking a stay, or using any of our facilities, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Reservations and Payment

All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Cielo Dorado. A reservation is considered confirmed only upon receipt of our written confirmation and, where applicable, receipt of the required deposit.

• All rates are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.
• Room rates are per room per night and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payment methods accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, bank transfer. All transactions are encrypted and processed securely.
• We reserve the right to pre-authorize your credit card at the time of booking.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

• Standard check-in time: 3:00 PM. Early check-in is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.
• Standard check-out time: 12:00 PM (noon). Late check-out requests must be made by 8:00 AM on the day of departure and are subject to availability.
• Valid government-issued photo identification is required at check-in for all guests.
• Guests must be at least 18 years of age to make a reservation independently.

4. Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the standards of a five-star luxury resort. We reserve the right to ask guests who behave in a manner that disturbs other guests, threatens staff, or violates applicable laws to vacate the property without compensation.

• Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of the resort. Designated smoking areas are available.
• Quiet hours apply between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM in all accommodation areas.
• Pets are permitted only by prior arrangement and in designated pet-friendly rooms, subject to additional fees.

5. Casino Lounge

The Casino Dorado Lounge is available exclusively to registered resort guests aged 18 years and over. Access requires presentation of valid identification confirming age. The casino is operated for entertainment purposes only in compliance with Chilean Law 19.995 on Casinos. Cielo Dorado encourages responsible gaming. Please gamble responsibly and within your means. If you feel you may have a gambling problem, please contact the Chilean Gambling Commission helpline.

6. Spa, Pool and Fitness Facilities

• All spa treatments require advance booking. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance; later cancellations may incur a 50% charge.
• Use of pool and fitness facilities is included for all registered guests.
• Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in all pool and spa areas.
• Cielo Dorado accepts no liability for any injury sustained while using resort facilities unless caused by gross negligence on our part.

7. Dining

Reservations at El Pico and Alto Cielo chef's table are recommended and subject to availability. A cancellation charge equivalent to the tasting menu price per person may apply for no-shows or cancellations within 4 hours of the reservation time.

8. Liability

Cielo Dorado's liability for any loss or damage suffered by a guest shall be limited to the value of the reservation in question, except where prohibited by Chilean consumer protection law (Law 19.496). We are not responsible for loss of valuables not deposited in the in-room safe or hotel safety deposit boxes.

9. Force Majeure

Cielo Dorado shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, acts of terrorism, strikes, or pandemic events. In such circumstances, our Cancellation Policy will apply as modified by the prevailing situation.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on cielodorado.cl including text, images, logos and design is the exclusive property of Cielo Dorado Resort & Spa S.A. and may not be reproduced without written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Santiago, Chile.
